Nancy Doss Rushing Dickenson

Obituary: Nancy Doss Dickenson, age 63, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis, NC after several years of declining health. She was born August 12, 1950 in Cabarrus County, NC, the daughter of the late Lee Robertson Rushing and Onnie Lee Rushing. Nancy was a 1968 graduate of A.L. Brown High School. Nancy was a certified nursing assistant having worked at Five Oaks Manor, Concord, NC for 17 years before becoming disabled. She was also a cake decorator for many years. She loved her family and loved to crochet and bake. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, William (Red) Doss. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Solid Rock Worship Center, 3000 Centergrove Road, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Raymond Davis. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Solid Rock Worship Center. At other times the family will be at the home of her daughter, Iris (Cissy) Tobin, 1109 S. Highland Avenue, Landis, NC. She is survived by her second husband, Clyde L. Dickenson; four children, Red Doss (Misty), Iris Doss Tobin (Mike), Lee Doss (Lisa), and David Doss (Misty); and wonderful grandchildren; Willie, Hannah, Madison, Cameron, Whitney, Emily, Joshua, C.J., Jacob, and a future grandchild.
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday October 15, 2013 Solid Rock Worship Center 3000 Centergrove Road, Kannapolis.

Service: 2:00 PM, Wednesday October 16, 2013 Solid Rock Worship Center.

Interment: Carolina Memorial Park.
