Nancy Julia Bunton Sides

Obituary: Nancy Julia Bunton Sides, 69, of China Grove passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at her home. She was born June 10, 1942 in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Ira and Emma Campbell Bunton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Sides and brothers Grady and Jimmy Bunton. Nancy loved to read, crochet and sew. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Dennis Chapman. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Whitley's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at her daughter's home, Teresa Houston, 1080 Camp Rd., Salisbury. She is survived by her four daughters, Shari Mann of China Grove, Teresa Houston, Sharlene Winecoff and Lynette McIntosh all of Salisbury, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Jerry Bunton of Salisbury and Tommy Bunton of Kannapolis, niece Vickie Valade of the home and a very dear cousin(like a sister) Sue Johnson of Statesville.
