Nawatha Hinson Ingle

Obituary: Nawatha Hinson Ingle, 68, of the Enochville Community, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Northeast Medical Center, Concord following a period of declining health. She was born May 18, 1944 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of the late Carl and Effie Hatley Hinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Garrie Ingle in 2006 and a daughter, Angela Renee Spach in 1985. Mrs. Ingle was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Enochville where in early life she loved to sing and play the piano for the church and Sunday school. She was employed by Cannon Mills in the sewing room and later the washcloth dept. until her retirement in 1996 with 35 years of service. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Brian Duncan and Rev. Dennis Chapman. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. At other times they will be at the family residence. Survivors include her sister, Ann Hinson Mauldin of China Grove, brother, Mouzon "Ike" Hinson of Concord, nieces and nephews, Vickie and Jeff Coe, Terry and Sue Mauldin, David and Delena Mauldin and Kathy and James Jordan.
