Neeka Ann Howard King

Obituary: Concord - Neeka Ann Howard King, 55, of 606 Primrose Lane, Concord went to Heaven on Saturday April 11, 2009 from the Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House. She was born March 1, 1954 the daughter of the Donald Lee Howard of Harmony and Shirley Tate Setzer of Mt. Pleasant. She was a waitress at Troutman's Bar-B-Que for 13 years. She is survived by her husband James H. "Jimmy" King, 2 daughters Kimberly McCrary and Bridgett King both of Concord, 2 granddaughters Courtney and Kayleigh McCrary both of Concord, a sister Sabrina Furr of Mt. Pleasant and a brother David Howard of China Grove. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday evening at 8:00 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Lewis Hagler. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 PM at Whitley's. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County 5003 Hospice Lane Kannapolis, NC 28081.
