Nellie Marie (Moose) Julian

Nellie Marie Moose Julian, 102 of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Cabarrus Northeast Medical Center. She had been in declining health.

She was born April 21, 1919 in Iredell County, NC a daughter of the late Oscar Julius Moose and Florence Adams Moose. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Glenda Campbell.

Nellie was a member of Jackson Park United Methodist Church. She was employed at Cannon Mills, Plt. #1, Spinning Room with 45 years of service. She also was employed at Stag and Doe Restaurant for 15 years She enjoyed beach trips, gardening, sewing and spending time with her family. She was a very unselfish person.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 14, 2022 at Carolina Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Laurie Knoespel, Pastor. The family will speak to friends following the graveside service.

Family members left to cherish Nellie’s memory include her daughter, Joyce Julian, son, Frankie Julian and wife Judy of Mooresville, three sisters; Olene Morton of China Grove, Genoa Miller of Kannapolis, and Grace Seamon of Kannapolis. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
