Nickey Earl Wright

Nickey Earl Wright, 61, of Plantation FL, formerly of Cabarrus County, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2021.

Nickey was born in Cabarrus County, on October 9, 1959. He was a son of Betty Sue Smith Lafferty and the late Bonnie Lee Wright.

Nickey graduated from AL Brown, class of 77. He spent his career working in Florida as a project manager in HVAC for new construction. Nickey will be remembered for his kind, loving heart, and always having a smile. He will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Betty Sue Smith Lafferty( Martin); his brothers, Tony Wright, Teddy Wright, Michael Wright ( Lillian), and Steven Wright; step sister, Amy Lynn Foster (Johnny); step brother, Greg Lafferty (Miriam); and niece, Sofia Wright.
