Nina Little Sperling

Obituary: Nina Little Sperling, 84, passed away Thursday morning, January 10, 2019, at the Brian Center in Concord. Born May 7, 1934 in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Gilbert Little. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca White; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Nina was a graduate of Oakboro High School and Kings College. Mrs. Sperling had retired from the NC Department of Motor Vehicles and had also retired from the city of Kannapolis. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Enochville. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, Mrs. Sperling will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Loving family members include her children, Lisa Hannon (Mike), of Gold Hill; Deborah Foy, of Harrisburg, Beth Bonds of Landis, and Brad Sperling; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday, January 12th at Whitley's Funeral Home. Funeral services to remember and celebrate the life of Mrs. Sperling will begin at 2:00 pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Lewis Whittington, Pastor, First Baptist Church of Enochville. Mrs. Sperling will be laid to rest in Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Enochville, 2308 Davis Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
