Obituary: Noah Edgar Ball, Jr., 43, of 3390 Phaniel's Church Road died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at CMC-NorthEast, Concord following a serious illness of one month. He was born September 13, 1966 in Mecklenburg County, son of Toncie Suggs Ball of Charlotte and the late Noah Edgar Ball, Sr. Prior to his disability he had served as a paramedic for Mecklenburg County. He later was a phlebotomist for eight years at various hospitals. He was an active member of Salisbury Christian Fellowship when his health permitted. He loved to fish and hunt and do anything dealing with the outdoors. He also loved to do woodworking and enjoyed playing the guitar. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 10, at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel conducted by Dr. Don Vess and Dr. Robert Wensil. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1:30-3:00 P.M. prior to the service. At other times they will be at the residence of Mrs. Neavonne Wensil, 3340 Phaniel's Church Road, Rockwell. Interment will follow in Phaniel's Baptist Church Cemetery. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by two daughters, Shannon Nichole Ball and Michaela Ball. He is survived by his wife of 15 years: Renee W. Ball of the Home, one Son: Brandon and his wife Emily of Faith, and one Granddaughter: Maddison Ball. He is also survived by two sisters and two brothers.
