Norman E. Hill

Obituary: Mr. Norman Eugene Hill, 74 , of Kannapolis passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015, death was unexpected. He was born May 28, 1941 in Cabarrus County to the late Edward Thomas Hill and Dorothy Irene Story Hill. He had served in the U S Army, and was an avid Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. He enjoyed spending time in the mountains with his family and friends. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Phyllis Barrier. Survivors include his wife; Kay Cagle Hill of the home; two sons Jeff Slough of Kannapolis, Jimmy Slough (Phyllis) of Clover, S.C. One daughter Julie Hawkins of Maryland. Three sisters; Bonnie Poole of Landis, Virginia Faulkenberry of Concord, Donna Hill of Salisbury; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The Hill family will receive friends from 7 until 9 P.M. Wednesday June 17, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home and a Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with the Rev. Mike Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove N.C.
