Norman Ritchie

Norman Anthony Ritchie (Tony), 79 of Concord, died on March 14, 2022 in Harrisburg. Norman was born in May 23, 1942 in Mooresville, a son of the late Norman Ormond Ritchie and Rosia Lee Grant. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Ritchie, and Jerry Ritchie.

Norman attended Wingate University, and later became a contractor, building many houses in the Kannapolis area. He retired from Lowes, after working there for twenty years. Norman played guitar and sang in the choir at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church. He later became an active member of Parkwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Ritchie, his son, Jeffery, Ritchie, his sister-in-law Joyce Ritchie, and his nephew, Roger Ritchie, Jr.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 18 at Carolina Memorial Park Ridge Mausoleum with family receiving friends at the graveside. His body will lie in state at Whitley's Funeral Home from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
