Olen Dennis Moore

Obituary: Olen Dennis Moore, 49, of China Grove, NC died unexpectedly at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville, NC on Oct. 24, 2014. Olen was born on Nov. 25, 1964 in Wyandanch, Long Island, NY, the son of Zelma June Crooks Moore of Kannapolis and the late Olden Moore. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by a brother, David Moore. Olen was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Salisbury. He was employed by Johnson Controls as a tech-in-training in heating and air conditioning and also enjoyed owning his own cleaning service. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses conducted by speaker Dan Woodrome. The family will receive friends from 1-2p.m. before the service. Burial will take place at Carolina Mem. Park in Kannapolis. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Michelle Stafford Moore of the home; daughter, Emily Moore also of the home; 5 brothers, Larry Moore (Gale), Lanny Moore (Joy), Ron Moore (Cindy), Durwin Moore (Starla) and Randy Moore (JoAnn); sister, Cindi Rudisill (Kevin).
