Otha Ira "Pete" Williams, 74, of China Grove, passed away February 12, 2022. Born, April 11, 1947, in Mooresville, he was the son the late Otha Anthony and Linda Adell Whitley Williams.
During his working years, he did auto mechanical work, auto body and paint work, owned his own auto dealership and enjoyed fixing watches for customers at Webb Road Flea Market.
Pete loved fishing with his grandson and spending time with his daughter, Jennifer.
Those left to cherish Pete's memory are two daughters, Jennifer Martin (Danny), of Spencer, Joyce Williams Luffman (Paul) of Statesville; a step-daughter, Carla Pressley; six sons, Jeff Williams, of Terrell, Donnie Williams of Troutman, Hubert Williams of Troutman, Timothy McEachern (Lisa) of China Grove, Jeffrey McEachern of Salisbury, and Ronnie McEachern of Tampa, FL; a brother, Buddy Williams (Jena) of Mooresville. He was loved by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Aside from his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his wife Linda "Lynn" Williams, whom he married to for an incredible thirty-five years. They are now, reunited for eternity, in Heaven. He was also preceded in death by two brothers Clarence Stephen, Donnie Ray; and two sisters Phyllis Elaine, and Linda Joyce Williams.
Funeral services to honor Pete's life will be held Wednesday 11:00am February 16, 2022 at Whitley's Funeral Home, Kannapolis. Rev. Mike Motley will officiate. Entombment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove. The family will receive friends from 10 - 11 Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
