Obituary: Mr. PB Lowder, 92, of Concord died Monday, March 15, 2010 at Five Oaks Manor following a period of declining health. He was born April 6, 1917 in Cabarrus County, son of the late Stella Lowder. He was employed by Rexham Corporation in Matthews until his retirement in 1984. He was a member of Ann Street United Methodist Church in Concord. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and greatgrandfather. Funeral services for Mr. Lowder will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, March 22, 2010 at Midway United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Dave Cash. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:30-3:00 P.M. At other times they will be at the residence. Internment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Concord. Mr. Lowder is survived by his wife of almost 68 years: Willie Lowder, a Daughter: Vicki Medlin of Kannapolis, two Twin Grandchildren: David Medlin and Kelli Fisher, two greatgreat grandchildren: Ethan and Avery Medlin. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Helen Harrington and Loretha Coble.
