Pamela Jo Martin Lipe, 78, of Kannapolis passed away Transitional Health Services of Kannapolis on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
A graveside service will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove on Saturday, May 28 at 3:00 PM. Her family will receive friends after the graveside service.
Pam was born May 31, 1943 in Cabarrus Co., the daughter of the late J. C. and Jackie Rogers Martin. In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Eugene Martin. Pam was a lifelong area resident, graduating from A. L. Brown and UNC Chapel Hill. In earlier years she worked for Comfort Keepers as a CNA and later she worked in the office at Web Road Flea Market. Pam was of the Methodist faith, attending 1st United Methodist Church in China Grove and Trinity United Methodist Church in Kannapolis. She loved the Lord and NASCAR. She enjoyed her time as a lap timer for both Earnhardts and attending races at Indianapolis. She loved her family and will be dearly missed
Survivors include his son Eric Price Lipe (Joyce) and her grandson Lathen Ray Lipe, all of Salisbury, her step-grandsons Jeremy William of Windell NC and Kevin Jared Washam (Leah) of Brookville IN, Step-great-grandchildren, Layton, Amelia and Meka and her cousins Candy and Todd Moore.
