Patricia James Cline

Obituary: Patricia James Cline, age 75, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Monday, July 25, 2016 after a period of declining health. She was born February 7, 1941 in Cabarrus County, NC, the daughter of the late Edgar Brewer James and Dorothy Louise Shoemaker James. Pat was retired from the Rowan County Schools System after twenty-five years of service where she spent all of that time at Bostian Elementary School. There, she worked in the lunch room, was a bus driver, and a teacher's assistant over her career. She loved taking care of all of the children. Pat was also a woman of faith always proclaiming her love for Jesus Christ. Among her many interests she loved going to the beach, caring for her pets, and spending quality time with her family. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three children, James Dean Bradbury, Patricia Ann (Tricia) Cline, and Christina Louise Cline; five siblings: Mary James Coughenour, Louise James Johns, Edgar (Buddy) James, Carol James Carter, and Kay James Honeycutt. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC. Burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after the service. Survivors include her husband of fifty-three years, Stamie Monroe Cline, Jr. (Steve); her son, Randy Thomas Bradbury; her daughter, Kemberley D. Bradbury Rappe (Eddie); a grandson, Stephen Justus McGraw; and a granddaughter, Alyssa Payton McGraw; three siblings, Mildred James Wilhelm, Judy James Fagan, and Sandra James Payne; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
