Obituary: Patricia "Pat" Triece Cook, age 86, of Kannapolis died unexpectedly on Monday, November 19, 2012 at CMC-NE in Concord. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 21 at Center Grove Lutheran Church, with Rev. Loyd Ginn officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, at other times they will be at 185 Northcrest Dr. in Kannapolis, at the home of Cliff and Sheila Cook. Pat was born March 17, 1926 in New York City, the daughter of W. C. and Doris Blondon Treice. She was a long time area resident and active member of Center Grove Lutheran Church. Pat was a home-maker to her family and enjoyed quilting, sewing and crafting. In addition to her parents, pat was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Cook. She is survived by her son, Clifford Cook and wife, Sheila of Kannapolis and her daughter Penny Godbey and husband, Jim. Pat is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
