Obituary: Patricia Beach Freeman, 58, of Kannapolis, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at her home. She was born January 23, 1954 in Rowan County, a daughter of Viola "Betty" Beach and the late Albert Odell "Pete" Beach. Patricia was educated in Rowan County Schools and worked many years at Cannon Mills until its closing. She then was employed as a CNA at the Brian Center. Those left to cherish her memory are; her husband of 37 years, Lawrence Richard "Ricky" Freeman Jr., two sons; Larry Freeman and wife Kendra, and Wayne Freeman both of Kannapolis, two grandsons; Richard Wayne Freeman Jr. and Dawson Freeman, two granddaughters; Kendall and Scarlett Freeman, three sisters; Judy Barbee and husband Ray of China Grove, Jo Ann Wiley and husband Ralph of Moncks Corner, SC, and Brenda Bowden of Gastonia, a brother; Albert Odell "George" Beach Jr. of La Place, LA., and several nieces and nephews. Patricia will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Services for Patricia will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the National Cemetery in Salisbury.
