Patricia Lou Litaker

Obituary: Patricia Lou Litaker, 88, of Concord died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011 at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. She was born August 3, 1922 in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Royal Clyde Agne and Dorothy Barr Agne. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Kenneth Litaker Sr. on Feb. 11, 2001, by a son, Ralph Kenneth Litaker Jr. in 2009 and by her sister Priscilla Whippo. She had retired from Sears, Inc. She was a member of Flow Harris Presbyterian Church where she had been active in the Women of the church. She served during WW II as a member of the US Navy Waves. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011 at Flow Harris Presbyterian Church officiated by Mr. Bill Jolly. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. She is survived by a daughter, Lynn Litaker of Concord and two sons, Jeff Litaker of Concord and Tim Litaker of Jacksonville, Fl., 7 grandchildren: Kimberly Smith, Kelly Queen, Ryan Litaker, Jordan Litaker, Drew Litaker, Eric Litaker, and Jennifer Litaker, 6 great-grandchildren and a sister Jean Farnsworth of Fairfax, Va. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Norman B. Barr Camp ( a camp for Underprivileged Children started by her grandfather) PO Box 70, Williams Bay, WI. 53191
