Patricia Louise Roush Miller

Obituary: Kannapolis, NC- Patricia Louise Roush Miller, age 70, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at her home after a short illness. She was born November 29, 1938 in Beaver Falls, PA, the daughter of the late Howard LaVerne Roush and Hilda Mae Neely Roush. She was a housewife all of her life. She had been a resident of Kannapolis, NC for the past 16 years. Prior to that she had lived in Pinellas County, Florida for 9 years. She was an active member of New Hope Independent Freewill Baptist Church, Concord, NC. She was looked upon by her family as a loving, caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Erin Marie Fiorenza. The funeral service will be 3:30 P.M. Thursday, April 16, 2009 at New Hope Independent Freewill Baptist Church, Concord, NC officiated by Rev. Roger Bostic. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Thursday at the church prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date. Everyone is invited to a dinner for the family & friends which will follow the funeral service. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, James F. Miller, formerly of New Brighton, PA; 4 children, Victoria Lynn Somerville & husband, John, Deborah Rae Fiorenza & husband, John, Alan Edward Miller, & Jennifer Sue McMahon & husband, Paul; 5 grandchildren, Heather Jaramillo, Kathie Jean Haggins, Zachary Landon, Shane Miller, & Kelly Landon; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Eugene LaVerne Roush. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Hope Independent Freewill Baptist Church, Building Fund, 555 Niesler Road, Concord, NC 28025.
