Patricia Lane Benson Reece

Obituary: Patricia Lane Benson Reece, 65, of China Grove passed away on July 16, 2016, at her residence after a battle with brain cancer. She was born on August 18, 1950, to the late Hubert and Katherine Benson. Patricia was a 1968 graduate of South Rowan High School and received her Master's from UNCC. She was an Intervention Specialist for the Rowan-Salisbury School System, retiring in 2012. She was an active member of First Reformed Church in Landis. Those left to honor her memory are her husband, of 43 years, Terry Lee Reece; son, Dr. Dustin Reece (Cammie); daughter, Staci Lane Reece-Floreani; four grandchildren; Kilee Reece, Carter Reece, Sebastian Floreani, and Oliver Floreani; sister, Sandra Stamper, brother-in-law, Ricky Stamper and sister-in-law, Charlene Kesler. Visitation: 12:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at First Reformed Church in Landis. Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at First Reformed Church with Rev. David Franks officiating. Burial will immediately follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Memorial gifts may be made to: First Reformed Church Building Fund of Landis, 210 N Central Ave, Landis, NC 28088.
