Obituary: Mrs. Patricia Louise Howell Reynolds, 65, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Reynolds was born in Ashe County January 26, 1948 to the late Edward D. Howell and Betty Conner Howell. She attended Beaver Creek High School; was employed with Cannon Mills for 35 years, and was a member of Independence Square Freewill Baptist Church in Kannapolis; Her hobbies were gardening flowers and loving her family. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Reynolds of the home; a daughter, Annette Bittle-Collins (Mark) of Kannapolis; two step-sons, Ronald Reynolds and Kevin Reynolds (Heather) all of Kannapolis; a special niece Jennifer Guffey and great nephew, Elijah Guffey both of Mooresville; two sisters, Katherine Jennings of Millers Creek, NC and Ruth Shepherd of Kannapolis; four brothers, Joe Howell of China Grove, Orne Howell of Piney Creek, Stephen Howell and Wayne Howell both of Wilkesboro, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James Howell and Rex Howell; and four sisters, Geneva Johnson, Janlane Johnson, Shirley Campbell, and Avanell Miller. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Cooper, Rev. Joe Blevins, and Rev. J.D. Walton officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at other times the family will be at the home.
