Patrick Alvin Morgan, 54, of Charlotte, North Carolina, went to his eternal home on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
Patrick was born in Kingston, Jamaica, on October 4, 1969, to his parents, Phillip Morgan and Myrtle Webb.
Patrick attended Rousseau Primary School and then graduated from Calabar High School in Jamaica. He was a soldier (Lance Corporal) in the Jamaican Defense Force. In his early thirties he migrated to the USA. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Lehman College in New York. He worked as an accountant for some of his career, but he also worked for the United States Post Office and Amazon. He was a member of City of Faith Church of God in Bronx, New York and was a Leader of the Cadet Band. He also enjoyed serving on the audio/video team. He was a huge cricket fan and played when he was in Jamaica. In his free time, he enjoyed watching basketball and cricket. He was a lovable man who was always friendly and ready to lend a helping hand to anyone. He also liked to make jokes and his humor will be missed by all.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Myrtle Webb; sisters, Sydia (Dalton Wint) Taylor-Wint and Juliette Taylor; brothers, Robert (Andrea) Taylor and Quary (Althea) Taylor; step-parent, Doxie Buchanan; nieces, Gabrielle Byfield, Chanelle Morgan, Ranelle Morgan, Deanna Wint, Rohema Taylor and Brea Taylor; nephews, Claudon Morgan, Joshua Wint, Stefaun Hears, Ramon Thompson, Romero King, Queon Taylor, Raheme Taylor and Rashad Taylor; cousins, Audrey (Ricky) Ricketts, Norman (Miley) Binns, Velma Binns and other family members in Jamaica, Canada and England.
The House of Tranquillity in Kingston, Jamaica is serving the family and service details will be announced in the near future. Burial will take place at Briggs Park Cemetery, Up Park Camp, Kingston 5, Jamaica. There will also be a Memorial service held at City of Faith Church of God in Bronx, NY.
