Obituary: Patsy Ann Sherrill Brown, 70, of Kannapolis died Friday, January 7, 2012 at the Oaks at Towne Center, Harrisburg after a period of declining health.A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, January 10 at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Whitley's Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Tuesday.Patsy was born June 25, 1941 in Cabarrus Co., the daughter of the late Roland B. and Ruth Danner Sherrill. She attended A. L. Brown High School and the worked for Cannon Mills Co. and later she was employed at Linn Corriher Mill until she retired on disability in 1991. In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Daniel Brown and her son, Roland Scott Brown.She is survived by her daughters, Robin B. Whitley and Ginger B. Scott (Jerry), both of Salisbury, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She will be truly missed.Online condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.
