Patsy Laney Hartsell

Obituary: Patsy Laney Hartsell, 68, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 28, 2014 at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born November 12, 1946 in Mecklenburg County, a daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Lillie Mills Laney. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 28 years; Jacob Delane Hartsell of the Home, two sons, Ricky Hilton (Melissa) of Kannapolis and Danny Hilton (Janet) of Salisbury. One daughter, Paula Marlow (Jerry) of Salisbury, two step-children, Wesley Hartsell and Melissa Crisco (Joey) both of Albemarle. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday, November 29, 2014. Funeral services will 1:30 P.M. Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Daniel Ramsey. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
