Patsy Ramseur

Obituary: Patsy Moore Ramseur, 75, of Concord, NC went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House following a period of declining health. Patsy was born May 25, 1940 in Iredell County, NC a daughter of the late John and Clara Foutz Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Jean Ramseur and a brother Jimmie Lee Moore. Patsy was a graduate of Landis High School and North State Business College. She worked as a teacher's assistant at Wolf Meadow Elementary School for twenty-two years before retiring in 1999. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Donny Ramseur of Concord. She is also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Linda Sue and Dolphus "Babe" Ramseur of Concord, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Glenn and Linda Ramseur of Harrisburg, and sister-in-law June Moore of Winston-Salem. A cousin, Vickie Pierce of Salisbury also survives. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel conducted by Rev. Mike Hubbard. Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park Plaza Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service. At other times they will be at the residence. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
