Patsy Gail Waller

Obituary: Kannapolis- Patsy Gail Waller, 79, passed away Saturday morning, July 28, 2018, at her home following a period of declining health. Born July 29, 1938 in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late Dowie and Gladys Crayton James. Earlier in life, Patsy enjoyed running her Gospel Record Shop. Mrs. Waller was a long time loyal member of Miller Street Baptist Church. She loved all of her family and enjoyed the time spent with them. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Waller will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. "Her love and faithfulness are remembered and celebrated here on earth, but Heaven's celebration is far greater today". Patsy has won eternal victory and will live with her Lord in everlasting peace. She leaves cherished memories to her husband of nearly 58 years, Sonny Waller; her children Cindy Spears, Tamera Drye and husband David; and a son, Smiley Waller; her grandchildren Shaun and Patrick Spears (Amanda), and Misty Efird (Rodney); her great-grandchildren Jacob, Austin, Hunter and Logan Efird.a step-grandson, Aaron Drye and his wife, Lynn. She is also survived by a brother Jimmy James and wife Jean and their son Michael. Private graveside services and burial will be held at a later date.
