Paul A. Scarborough

Obituary: Paul A. Scarborough, 87, of Mooresville, NC died at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC on Monday, December 26, 2016. Mr. Scarborough was born on Nov. 12, 1929 in Mecklenburg Co., the son of the late Joseph Preston Scarborough and the late Lois Smith Scarborough. In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by a son, Robert Scarborough and a daughter, Faye W. Krimminger. Paul was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War. He worked at Cannon Mills plant, #1, for 45 years and enjoyed TV and Radio repair. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Naomi E. Scarborough, sons; Ronald Scarborough of Concord, Lonnie G. Williams of Mooresville and Ronnie D. Williams of Salisbury along with eleven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. The service will take place at 11a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28th at Unity U.M.C. conducted by Rev. Tim Whittington. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the church. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday December 27, 2016 at Unity U.M. Church.

Service: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday December 28, 2016 Unity United Methodist Church.

Interment: Church Cemetery.
