Paula Fran Smith Sutton

Obituary: Paula Fran Smith Sutton age 60 died at her residence after a period of declining health, but death was unexpected. She was born on March 21, 1949 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of the late Charles Smith and the late Bertie Frye Smith. She was a lifelong resident of Rowan and Cabarrus Counties where she worked as a waitress before retiring on disability. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son David Michael Sutton in 1994. There will be no services for Mrs. Sutton. She is survived by a son, Howard F. "Frankie" Sutton, III and wife Rebecca of Albemarle, NC and a daughter Alisha Michele Sutton of Oklahoma. Two grandchildren: Sarah Rebecca Campbell of Albemarle and David Michael Sutton, Jr. of Kannapolis. The family requests that memorials be made to Whitley's Funeral Home to defer costs.
