Paulette Baynard Holloway, 68, of Kannapolis, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
Born on May 16, 1951 in Rutherford County, she was daughter of the late Rev. Paul L. Baynard and Annie Stewart Baynard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lewis Baynard, Hicks Baynard, and Betty Lou Baynard.
Paulette worked as a bank teller for many years as well as at Cannon Mills #1 Weave Room until it shut down. She also worked as a team lead at Sam’s Club until she had to go on disability in 2005. She was an outstanding mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always showed unconditional love.
Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband of 25 years, Kenneth Holloway; daughter, Terri Lynn Long Worley (Billy); son, Jerry W. Long Jr. (Teri); brother, Glenn Baynard; sister, Sandra Dunbar; grandchildren, Ashley Worley and Tyler Worley and wife Caitlynn; and great-grandchildren, Elijah Worley.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Charity Baptist Church on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Marty Payton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Paulette’s memory may be made to Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary, 220 Grace Church Rd., Salisbury, NC 28147.
