Obituary: Pauline Doolittle Fowler, 83, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 26, 2014 from Five Oaks Manor in Concord after a period of declining health. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 29 at Carolina Memorial Park with her grandson, Scottie Edgison, officiating. Pauline was born December 18, 1930 in Cabarrus Co., a daughter of the late Len and Polly Willis Doolittle. She was a lifelong area resident, graduating from J. W. Cannon High School in 1949. Pauline was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. She worked briefly for Cannon Mills, but was primarily a homemaker for her family and a lover of animals. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde Watson, her son, Jackie Fowler and her husband, Ernest Fowler. She is survived by her daughters; Bonnie Barrett (John Arthur) of Harrisburg and Polly Harwood of MI, her 5 grandchildren, Brian Fowler (Fiancée, Amanda) of Kannapolis, Scottie Edgison (Marcy) of Concord, Dustin Fowler of Durham, Marty Barrett of Harrisburg, Amanda Barrett of Concord and 2 great-grandchildren, McKenzi Fowler and Jonathan Young.
