Pauline Barnhardt Jones

Obituary: Pauline Barnhardt Jones, 98, of China Grove passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her home. She was born October 6, 1916 in Rowan County, the daughter of the late John Michael Barnhardt and Annie Belle Sloop Barnhardt. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Washington Jones and a son, Howard W. Jones. Pauline was retired from Cannon Mills where she worked in the Sheet Department. She was a member of Jackson Park United Methodist Church. She liked to sew. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Mike Hubbard. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM prior at Whitley's. She is survived by two sons, Larry M. Jones and George D. Jones and a grandson, William Michael Murphy.
