Obituary: Pauline "Boots" Crisco Freeze McDonald, 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 20, 2015. Death was unexpected. Pauline was born July 4, 1934 in Mecklenburg County, NC a daughter of the late General Sebastian and Myrtle Petrea Crisco. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Freeze and her second husband, Frank McDonald. She attended Piedmont Baptist Church. She loved to cook and can and enjoyed watching cooking shows. She had retired from General Time Corp. of Davidson in May, 1985. She enjoyed being with and keeping her grandchildren. Survivors include one son, E. Darryl Freeze (Debbie) of Mooresville, two daughters; Janice Cress (Phil) of Concord and Linda Sharpe (Joe) of Davidson, one brother, Rev. Elmer Crisco (Sara) of Charlotte, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel conducted by her brother, Rev. Elmer Crisco. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
