Pauline Blevins Teasley

Obituary: China Grove- Pauline Blevins Teasley, 100, passed away Sunday morning, November 18, 2018, at The Laurels of Salisbury. Born June 8, 1918 in Ashe County, she was a daughter of the late Coy Winton Blevins and Mae Miller Blevins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Lee Teasley, her second husband, Beauford Efird, her son, Deral Wayne Teasley, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Pauline graduated valedictorian from West Jefferson High School, where she was a talented basketball player. Retiring from Cannon Mills, she had also worked for Terry Products and was a beautician in Landis for many years. Mrs. Teasley was of the primitive Baptist faith and loved to read her bible. Left to cherish her memory include her granddaughters Tammy Henley and husband Trent, and Lisa Green and husband Randall; 4 great grandsons; 6 great-great grandchildren and extended family members. Mrs. Teasley also loved her Boo Boo kitty. A celebration of life for Mrs. Teasley will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the American Legion Hut in Landis. The family will have fellowship with family and friends following the celebration service. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to American Legion, Post 146, 412 Central Avenue, Landis, NC 28088.
