Pearl Mae Harrison

Pearl Mae Smith Harrison, 99, formally of Kannapolis, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 after a period of declining health.

Born June 30, 1921 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Mary Hendrix Smith.

Pearl was a charter member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and New Hope Lutheran Church. She loved to sew, cook, bake, put puzzles together and take care of children including all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pearl is survived by her daughter Carolyn Wallace (Bill); a daughter in-law Patsy Harrison; grandchildren, Robin Null, Lori Roberts and husband J.R., Jeff Harrison and wife Aprille; and great grandchildren, Taylor Thurlo, Bailey and and Brandon Hutchins, Cody Harrison, Rebecca Threadgill and husband Caleb. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elvin B. Harrison, son Larry B. Harrison, four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family, with entombment at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
