Pearl Cavin Lear

Obituary: Pearl Cavin Lear, 97, of Salisbury, NC died on July 5, 2013at Genesis Health Care. Mrs. Lear was born on September 16, 1915 in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Martin D. Cavin and the late Fannie Josephine Weaver Cavin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lear and her brothers and sisters. Mrs. Lear was a member of Mt. Zion U.C.C and had worked as a winder at Cannon Mills. She is survived by 3 daughters: Pat Feliciano of Cayce, SC, Martha Raynor of Falls Church, VA and Rebecca Vinson of China Grove, NC: 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The funeral service for Mrs. Lear will take place at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Mt. Zion U.C.C. conducted by Rev. Mark Burns. Burial will be in the church cemetery..
