Peggy Sue Davis

Obituary: Peggy Sue Davis, 81, of Landis, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from CMC-Northeast Medical Center, Concord following a period of declining health. Peggy was born August 12, 1937 in Rowan County, NC, a daughter of the late James Robert and Marie Susie Freeze Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son and his wife, Anthony Dean "Andy" Gulledge and wife Marvinia "Red". Family members include one son, Keith Gulledge and his late wife Denise of China Grove, one daughter, Teresa Hardison and husband Jeff of Landis, six grandchildren; James Gulledge, Chrissy Harwood, Sharon Chapman, Sheena Torrence, Ryan Hardison, and Whitney Facemyer. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; Hayleigh Chapman, Tanner Gulledge, Madalynn Gulledge, Levi Harwood, McKenzi Gulledge, Davis Harwood, Tucker Lotze and an unborn baby Hardison. Peggy was a born again Christian who has gone to be with Jesus. Private services will be held for Ms. Davis.
