Peggy Carroll Fulcher

Obituary: The angels are rejoicing with their newest best friend, Peggy Carroll Johnson Fulcher, 80. Sweet Peggy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, wife and true friend. She was very considerate of others always including love in everything she did whether it was sending a card when she was thinking of you, baking a cake for a church event, helping with school activities and being the best carpool mom ever. The mother of one son, Kenneth Johnson (wife Jackie) and three daughters, Chrise Jackson (husband Marty), Carroll Lynn Ritchie (husband, Greg), and Cindy Elizabeth Johnson, 12/1/1964-12/8/1964. Peggy was the most wonderful "Mama Peg" to 5 grandchildren, McKenzie Jackson, Logan Ritchie, Fallon Ritchie, Riley Johnson and Reece Johnson. Always leading by example, Peggy showed her family, how to treat others, live life with love, gratitude and compassion. Born in York, SC, Peggy graduated from York High School in 1952 where she was a friend to all and crowned Christmas Princess, "Football Queen", and Beta Queen. Peggy is survived by her best friend and sister, Geraldine Wilkerson. She will be joining her Mother and Father, Lela and Campbell Carroll in heaven along with her siblings Dwight Carroll, Rhoda Fakoury and Delois Moss. She will also be reunited with the father of her children, Stan Johnson, to whom she was a loving and devoted wife. The family is inviting you to visit on Thursday, June 16, from 1 pm - 2:15 pm and join them for the celebration of Peggy's life at 2:30 pm at Concordia Lutheran Church in China Grove, NC.
