Peggy Cleaver Gullette

Obituary: Peggy Cleaver Gullette, 78, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at CMC Northeast Medical Center. Mrs. Gullette was born in Cabarrus county July 18, 1934 to the late Charles and Mattie Cleaver. Peggy retired from Cannon Mills and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a great homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Gullette of the home; four daughters, Wanda Williams (Greg), Kathy Carter, Lisa Shinn, and Lisa Herlocker (Tony); one son, Anthony Carter; four step children, Cynthia Medlin (Randy), Debora Dial (Carl), Kenneth Gullette(Sue), and Dennis Gullette(Betsy); Twenty one grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Phillips officating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Whitley's Funeral Home.
