Peggy Simmons Jordan

Obituary: Peggy Simmons Jordan, 75, of Kannapolis, went to be with the Lord, Saturday September 26, 2015 at the Tucker Hospice House. She was born September 16, 1940 in Davie Co. to the late Deward Elmer Simmons and Louise Soles Simmons. She worked at Fieldcrest Cannon for twenty years. Peggy enjoyed fishing, gardening, and Praising the Lord. She was a member at Skyland Baptist Church in Kannapolis. She was preceded in death by one brother Joseph Eugene Lee. Those left to cherish her memory, one son Tommy W. Rogers Jr. of Kannapolis, two daughters Sandy Osborne and Terry Gaskey both of Kannapolis, six grandchildren, 14 Great grandchildren, one brother Grover H. Lee and wife Betty of Summerville, SC, one nephew, four nieces and close friends Kay Wagoner, Doris McComb, and Tammy Freytag. A memorial service will be held 3 PM Monday (Sept. 28) at Skyland Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Morgan officiating.
