Obituary: Kannapolis- Peggy Jean Wiles, 85, passed away Tuesday morning, June 4, 2019, at CHS-NorthEast Medical Center, following a brief illness. Born October 23, 1933, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Lucille Wilkerson Dorton. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Armond Wiles. Peggy had managed Centerview Café, a job and calling she truly enjoyed. She had lived in Garden City, SC for many years. She loved the beach and enjoyed her time living there. Peggy loved time spent with her family, loved her cats and was especially fond of ice cream sandwiches. Mrs. Wiles will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family members left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Vicki Gibson (Vernon), Georgie Moore (Trent), Kim Linker (Terry) and Sherri Argabright (Jay); her grandchildren, Chad Gibson, Jacob Moore (Ashley), Dustin Shue (Leslie), Shelby Austin (Kevin), Kendall Shue (Amber), Meagan Young (Kevin), Amber Argabright (Billy Troglin), Brady Argabright, Patrick Moore and Travis Linker (Sarah); her sister-in-law, Georgia Holmes; and 10 great grandchildren. Graveside services to remember and celebrate Peggy's life will begin at 11:00 am Thursday, June 6th at Carolina Memorial Park, conducted by Pastor Doug Hardin.
