Phyllis S. Spry

Phyllis S. Spry 89, of China Grove, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 12, 2021 after an extended illness . Phyllis was born September 21, 1931 in Rowan County, the daughter of Aaron Hill Spry and Myrtie Lee Hellard Spry.

Phyllis was a lifetime member of North Kannapolis United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir as long as her health permitted. A true friend and outstanding cook, a person that really loved to can vegetables and pickle beets right from her garden.  These are memories that will remain for all who knew and loved Phyllis.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and six brothers. She is survived by her brothers Jerry Spry and wife Judy of Landis and Kenneth Wayne Spry of China Grove.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, April 16, 2021 at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove with Pastor Jeff Faggart officiating.

The family requests that memorials be made to North Kannapolis United Methodist Church, 1307 North Main Street, Kannapolis N.C. 28081
