Pressley Leon Overcash, Sr.

Obituary: Pressley Leon Overcash Sr., 86, of Kannapolis passed away, Friday, January 29, 2016, at CMC Northeast. He was born September 29, 1929 in Rowan County to the late Britton P. Overcash and Grace Keller Overcash. Pressley worked at Cannon Mills for 48 years, he enjoyed fishing at the beach and was a member of NC Beach Buggy Association, he was a loving husband, father, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Anthony (Tony) Dale Isom in 1997 and three brothers. Those left to cherish his memory, his wife Dorothy McWaters Overcash, two sons Pressley Leon Overcash Jr., and A. Shane Overcash, two daughters, Kim O. Orbison (Jimmy), and Vickie I. Wriston (Al) all of Kannapolis; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Brookdale Baptist Church 2511 S. Ridge Ave. Kannapolis, NC 28083.
