Priscilla Rice Brown

Obituary: Priscilla Rice Brown, 52 of Kannapolis, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at CMC-NorthEast following a period of declining health. Priscilla was born in Cabarrus County on December 2, 1960, a daughter of Joe Mason and the late Eva Blackmon Rice. Priscilla was currently employed as a teacher at Logan's Day Care Center, was a member of Smith Chapel Apostolic Holiness Church and enjoyed modeling, home decorating and event planning. A service to celebrate Priscilla's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at New Life Baptist Church with Bishop A. Wayne Brown and Bishop Ronnie Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the services. At other times they will be at the home of her daughter Madelyn R. Abram in Kannapolis. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Jerry H. Brown of the home, sons; Quinton J. Allen and wife Lisa of Concord, and Brandon L. Allen of China Grove, a daughter; Madelyn R. Abram and husband Mike of Kannapolis, and step-daughter; Bettina R. Brown of Kannapolis and 6 grandchildren. She is also survived by 9 brothers and 5 sisters on her mothers side and 6 brothers and 3 sisters on her fathers side.
