Rachel (Johnson) Hager

Rachel J. Hager, 84, of Kannapolis, passed away, Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
She was born May 23, 1938 in Wilkes Co. to the late Robert Johnson and Ester Mathis Johnson.
Rachel enjoyed many things in life sewing, cooking, and gardening were her favorite hobbies, she loved her church and church family, she was loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Donald Hager Sr., son Perry Hager, grandson Christopher Hager and numerous brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory, a son, Don Hager (Jeana), three daughters Cathy Fields (Steve), Crystal Price (Jeff), Cindy Shores (Chris), a twin brother Ruben Johnson, 12 Grandchildren and, 12 Great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Parkwood Baptist Church with Rev. Bo Sherrill officiating, the family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
