Ralph Johnston, Jr.

Obituary: Ralph J. Johnston, Jr. (1943 to 2013) was born in Cabarrus County to Ralph and Mildred Hunsucker Johnston. Ralph was a fine Christian and loyal servant of God. Secondarily, he was a distinguished educator, widely respected in his field. Ralph gave freely to anyone in need and was always the first to volunteer. He passed quietly on March 2nd in Montgomery Co. with his wife, Sonia Sloop Johnston, at his side. He is survived by his son, Jay Johnston and wife, Edi and granddaughter, Heidi and two step daughters, Vanessa Laster and Jennifer Tarlton. His absence will be sorrowfully felt, may he rest in peace.
