Obituary: www.whitleysfuneralhome.com Ramelle Callicutt Lentz, 83, of Kannapolis died Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Tucker Hospice House. She was born July 7, 1926 in Badin, NC, the daughter of the late Grady and Eva Ballard Callicutt. She retired from Cannon Mills Co. after 25 years of service. She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church for more than 50 years. She also was a volunteer at the hospital as long as her health permitted. She was a special lady who was loved by all who met her. Her memorial service will be 3:00 PM Sunday (Sept. 27, 2009) at Midway United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Dave Cash. The family will receive friends following the service. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Harold W. Lentz, her four children: Beth Lentz Neal and husband Alan, Debbie Lentz Tibbs and husband David, Mark Lentz and wife Patty, and Greg Lentz, 7 grandchildren: Kim Larsen, Kevin Champion, Jessica Lentz, Josh Tibbs, Ethan Tibbs, Avery Tibbs, and Caleigh Lentz, two stepgrandchildren: Tiffany and Sean Neal, her sister Barbara Bowles, her sister-in-law Doris Lentz and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Midway United Methodist Church 708 S.
