Randy Allen Haynes, 67, of China Grove, passed away Friday evening, August 13, 2021, at Lake Norman Regional Hospital, following a period of declining health.

Born May 23, 1954, in Mooresville, he was a son of Joanne Adams Haynes of China Grove and the late Max Haynes.

Randy was a 1972 graduate of South Rowan High and was owner of Granite Muffler and Alignment for more than 20 years. He enjoyed NASCAR, go kart building and racing, loved antique cars, and had a special love for his Shih Tzu, Callie. A loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend of many, Randy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family members left with cherished memories, in addition to his mother, include his devoted wife of 42 years, Debbie Haynes; his brothers, Ricky and Robert Haynes (Donna); his niece, Tabitha DeLacy; nephew, Jensen Haynes; great niece, Saia DeLacy, dear friends, Luke Efird (Stacy) and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday evening, August 17th at Whitley’s Funeral Home.  Memorial services to remember and celebrate Randy’s life will begin at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Leroy Moose.
