Obituary: Randy Lee Fortner, 52, of Kannapolis died September 17, 2016. He was born August 12, 1964 in Cabarrus County. Randy owned Fortner's Carpet Installation for many years. He enjoyed playing pool with the APA pool league as well as riding his Harley- Davidson motorcycle. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 on Wednesday at Whitley's. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Knight Clark, father, Guy Leonard Fortner, daughter, Carmen McKenzie Fortner, son, Randy Logan Fortner, sisters, Geynell Altonen, Jennifer Winecoff (Kyle) and a brother, Trent Fortner.
