Randy Ray Goodman

Obituary: Randy Goodman, 58, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, December 5, 2017. Born April 15, 1959 in Cabarrus County, he was a son of the late Donald Ray and Mary Louise Jordan Goodman. Randy was a 1977 graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School and had earlier retired from IBM. He was currently employed with Hygeia in Kannapolis, as an assembler. Randy loved being outdoors, spending time with family and friends at the lake, NASCAR, and was an avid Carolina Tar Heel and Panthers fan. A simple and easy going man, Randy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Family members include his brother Keith Goodman and wife Terri; his nephews Baker and Jordan Goodman; and his long time best friend Al Meade and wife Deb. A tailgate gathering and balloon release to remember and celebrate Randy's life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 30th, at Lake Norman State Park, 759 State Park Rd., Troutman, NC 28166.
