Randy Wayne Ritchie

Randy Wayne Ritchie, 60, of China Grove, passed away November 8, 2021 at the Tucker Hospice House. He was born September 15,1961 in Cabarrus County, a son of the late Homer Wayne Ritchie and Phyllis Ann Beaver Ritchie.

Randy was employed at Indian Trail Air and Heat. He was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Concord. Family meant the world to Randy. He loved spending time with them as much as possible. His love for his family will live on through his wife, children, sibling, and grandchildren. Randy enjoyed many things in life including movies, reading, kayaking, music of all genres, taking care of animals, gardening, astronomy and a general love for learning.

Randy is survived by his wife, Amy Ritchie; children Krystina Ritchie, Joey Gallitz, Steven Gallitz (Valerie), Kyle Hinson (Ciann), and Mitchell Hinson (Sabrina); grandchildren Kaylee, Arailynn, Evelyn, Graylyn, Éowyn, Andrew, Allison, Nicholas, Sophie, Spencer, Scarlett, Jolene and a baby boy due in April; and sister Cherri Farrell (Nick).

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Jimmy Barrett. Randy’s family will receive friends prior from 1:00 to 2:00 at Whitley’s.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Poplar Grove Baptist Church 3476 Poplar Tent Road Concord, or the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
